Dates: 19 - 22 October 2026
Venue: Amsterdam, Netherlands
The role of Heads of Legal and Compliance functions continues to evolve. They are expected not only to demonstrate a high level of professional expertise and effective management of legal and regulatory risks, but also to possess an understanding of business strategy, leadership skills, the ability to influence decisions, develop teams and guide the organisation through periods of change and uncertainty.
However, there is no single, universal model for an effective Legal or Compliance function. Its role, mandate and means of influence depend on the organisation’s size and maturity, ownership structure, industry, corporate culture, international context and the expectations of key stakeholders.
The programme creates a space for Legal and Compliance leaders where they can compare different models of leadership and organisational structure, discuss real-world management dilemmas, exchange experiences and identify opportunities for further development of their own leadership roles and functions.
